I’m Dr. Anita Sivam, a board-certified allergist and founder of Inspire Allergy & Asthma in Carmel, Indiana. I created this practice with one simple goal: to build the kind of allergy clinic I would want for my own family — one that prioritizes time, transparency, and truly personalized care.

Inspire Allergy & Asthma is a locally owned, direct-care allergy practice serving children and adults in the Carmel community.

Biologics and medications can still be processed through insurance when appropriate. The difference is that your care plan is driven by what’s medically right for you — not what an insurance company approves first.

Why I Created This Practice

Over time, I felt the tension so many physicians feel — not enough time, too many constraints, and too many families leaving appointments with more prescriptions but not enough answers.

I wanted something different.

I wanted the freedom to sit down and fully unpack:

• Whether that “sinus infection” is actually allergic inflammation

As someone who has lived with asthma myself, I know firsthand how frustrating and limiting chronic inflammation can feel. Allergy is deeply personal — and I believe care should be too.

Inspire Allergy & Asthma was created to focus on root-cause inflammation, thoughtful conversations, and expanding treatment options right here in our community — including food oral immunotherapy and advanced therapies — so families don’t have to travel out of state for care.
