I’m Dr. Anita Sivam
A board-certified allergist and immunologist
I chose this field because I love helping both children and adults feel better and live more comfortably. Fun fact: Allergy is one of the few specialties where a doctor gets to care for patients of all ages, which makes every day a little different — and so rewarding.
Allergies and asthma are also personal for me. I’ve dealt with them my whole life (thankfully much better now that I’ve had proper allergy care!), so I really understand what it feels like to live with those symptoms. And as a mom now raising two kids with asthma (thanks genetics!), I know firsthand the worries and challenges that come with it.
I’ve always believed that great care starts with connection — taking the time to truly get to know my patients and creating a plan that fits their lives, not just their diagnoses.
My medical training journey took me from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York, to Scripps Mercy Hospital in sunny San Diego, and then to fellowship training at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. I’ve been lucky to live all over the country, and each experience shaped how I practice medicine today — blending science, compassion, and a whole lot of listening.
Now, I couldn’t be more excited to open my practice right here in my home state of Indiana, where I get to bring that vision of personal, patient-centered care to life.
When I’m not in the office, you can find me chasing after my kids, trying out a new restaurant (recommendations always welcome!), or planning our next family getaway. I believe in balancing hard work with good food, laughter, and adventure.
